I am an illustrator, graphic designer and photographer with a diverse background that includes children's book illustration, corporate packaging design and magazine layout. I also worked as art director and layout designer for a non-profit music magazine from 2005 to 2008. My other passions include interior design and creative writing.

I received a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Illustration from Columbia College Chicago in 2008. Since then I have completed several freelance projects that range from web design to logo creation. I took up residence in New York during the summer of 2008 completing a layout design internship with the innovative publication Zink Magazine. I moved back to Illinois in August, where I worked as a graphic design assistant with a popular cleaning supply corporation. I have also worked closely with MJM Books, an eclectic, unique children's book publication company.

I have a plethora of writers and illustrators that have influenced me over many years. I grew up surrounded by the wonderful world created by Roald Dahl and Quentin Blake, a team that had a profound impact on my future career decisions. To fuse madness and sanity in less than two hundred pages is, ladies and gentlemen, the purest art form.
